The Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg is proud to sponsor the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service Half Marathon for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
After a very successful SOLD OUT first annual event, that drew over 1,600 runners and grossed
close to $100,000 in support of the Heart & Stroke Foundation, we are very happy to return to
you for another year!
The Second Annual Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service Half Marathon | 10km | 5km
When: Saturday, October 19th, 2013. 8am start time
Where: All three distances will start and finish at the Canadian Mennonite University campus
located at Shaftesbury and Grant. Event race route uses the pathways and roadways of the
Charleswood and Tuxedo areas.
All proceeds raised will go to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Manitoba. Funds raised through
this event will allow the Heart and Stroke Foundation to continue to invest in activities that
positively impact the lives of people in our communities
THE WFPS Half Marathon, 10K and 5K offers sponsors and supporters excellent brand
exposure to over 2,200 runners, 375 volunteers and thousands of spectators while aligning
themselves with a reputable charity and the WFPS.
