Josh Griffin is a passionate young man who wants to make a difference for those less fortunate. He has started a GoFundMe fundraiser to create “temporary homeless shelters” from recycled plastic.
Combining his concerns for global plastic pollution, and the homeless problem specific to Winnipeg, he came up with this idea to help with both.
The temporary shelters will be made from 100% recycled plastic, and will be easy to assemble and take down, making them very portable. They will also be effective year-round, which will make them useful for protection from the harsh extremes of weather we experience in Winnipeg.
Josh hopes to work with local groups with similar values to make this dream a reality and do his part to help the homeless population here in Winnipeg.

Thanks for taking on such an impressive project and for being a Community Hero, Josh!
