Val Wilson is a bingo-loving Neepawa resident with a big heart. Since the pandemic stopped the local fundraising bingo show from selling cards in businesses around town, Val has been hand delivering cards to all the players!
Every Sunday, Val and her dogs walk around town dropping off cards to each player, and even mails them to out-of-town players herself.
Val also sometimes calls bingo or answers calls during the game, and she is famous in town for her amazing pies that she loves to make and share with everyone. The bingo is a fundraiser for the local NACTV station, and participation has increased substantially since Val took it under her wing.
