Murray from Souris was integral in getting the town a communal skating rink. He wanted everyone to be able to enjoy a fun, safe winter activity, so he rounded up a group to flood a skating oval in the town’s campground. The people of Souris have even joined in Murray’s initiative and donated lights, firewood, snacks and hot chocolate for all skaters to enjoy.
Murray created a fun winter activity during these isolating times by bringing people together safely and responsibly.
The town of Souris loves Murray and all he does for his community. He brought so much joy to so many people this winter by creating a beautiful winter wonderland.
