The Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg has participated in Operation Red Nose in the 2004/2005 holiday season, in participation with the Manta Swim Club. All donations we received through Operation Red Nose were to raise funds for the Manta Swim Club. In addition to these funds, we have donated an addition $300 to them.
The Manta Swim Club is a non-profit organization. The purpose of Manta is to provide an opportunity for youth in the city of Winnipeg to participate in the fun and challenging sport of swimming.
The Manta swim club is extremely proud to be involved in our community. Manta is proud to offer Operation Red Nose / Nez Rouge to the residents of Winnipeg. They are also involved in many other activities including: cleanup at the Red River Exhibition, annual participation in the Terry Fox Run and many more.
