The Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg has donated $10,000 to the Dream Factory towards their Dream Maker Auction evening.
The Dream Factory is a charitable organization dedicated to fulfilling dreams for kids who are battling life-threatening illnesses. We’re unique because we’re based in Manitoba – and all of the funds we raise stay in this province to help local children. Everything we do is focused on helping sick kids and their families.
The Dream Factory relies solely on the generous support of people and businesses. Since 1983, when we were founded as The Rainbow Society, we’ve created cherished memories for more than 500 families in Manitoba.

The Annual Dream Maker Auction is our largest fundraising event, raising approximately $225,000.00 net. It is a fun evening with 500 – 600 guests in attendance enjoying the live entertainment and a buffet, along with a Live and Silent Auction.There is a wide selection of Auction Items ranging in price from $50.00 to $6,000.00, with every person finding something to bid on. Some items that have been up for bid in the Live Auction in the past are: a five-course dinner for six people in your home prepared by the Executive Chef at Winnipeg Convention Centre and Beat the Box office tickets including tickets to every upcoming event sponsored by the Winnipeg Free Press. The Silent Auction is also a hit with the guests with a variety of 100 packages to bid on.We are looking forward to the continued success and growth of the Annual Auction, and are delighted that the Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg has been a VIP Sponsor of this event since 2001.
