Corinne Coutts has teamed up with Vivacity Fitness to collect feminine hygiene products and monetary donations for 1Just City, an organization that provides meals, programs and shelter to those experiencing homelessness.
People experiencing homelessness face many challenges, many of which are life-threatening. Women experiencing homelessness face additional challenges that further threaten their well-being on a daily basis, and that’s why Corinne decided to start collecting these products.
So far, Corinne and Vivacity Fitness have collected 1,100 total feminie products. They are accepting donations until the end of April, you can bring directions directly to Vivacity Fitness, or donate online via www.1justcity.com.
UPDATE: Corinne and Vivacity Fitness collected over 11,00 menstrual products and $6,800 for 1JustCIty! Winnipeg Kinsmen also donated $1,000 to help Corinne’s cause, and are honoured to have been able to help her meet and exceed her goals!
